    Where’s the option for a 10-star review? We agree 100% with the others’ comments and 5-star feedback and highly recommend Sharp Construction. With our recent kitchen-family-laundry room makeover we enjoyed the same collaborative, well managed project and respectful experience working with Chip (owner) & Zach (son) called out in the reviews. This is the third time we’ve worked together and agree wholeheartedly that his craftsmanship talents, superb communication skills, and keen attention to detail are only a few of the exceptional attributes he brings to his work. The high bar Chip sets for his subcontractors and all those who work on his job site is obvious as he is meticulous and insists everyone on the team provides timely and high-quality workmanship to his clients. This was our first time with such an extensive home update and appreciated Chip’s recommendations on the ways to elevate the design and create a customized look. Two notable examples are the Board and Batten mountain-scape on our accent wall and the new contemporary look and feel of the linear fireplace and built-ins – what a difference these improvements made in our family room; we love it! (Photos coming soon). We intend to redo our primary suite in the next year or so and look forward to partnering with Sharp Construction again!

    Mr. Chip (as my 2 year old calls him) did an amazing job on our laundry room/ mud room remodel (see the photos in the photos section). He was recommended to us by our neighborhood Google group, and after meeting Chip, talking about or vision for the space and looking at the plans, we didn’t even bother with a second estimate, because we knew we wanted to work with him. The project was done on time, on estimate, and Chip was always working when he said he would be. It is a small family owned and operated company with his wonderful sons. He even went above and beyond getting a ceiling fan installed for us and making several trips to Lamps Plus who kept selling us the wrong parts. Chip hand built our sitting bench, shelf and sink cover. They are beautiful and so expertly made that originally the shelf was going to be painted, but when we saw the shelf, we had him stain the shelf to show it off. Chip did such a fantastic job that I am trying to figure out our next home improvement project so that we can hire him again! Chip made such a wonderful impression on my family and 2 year old, that every time he has to put his shoes on or take them off, he runs into the laundry/mud room and asked to “sit on the bench that Mr. Chip built”. We can’t recommend him enough, you won’t be disappointed.

  • Chip is an amazing contractor to work with! You will truly be spoiled by his timeliness, friendliness and professional work, and even his love for cleaning up at the end of the day! We were impressed with the steady progress plus open and clear communication for what was being done and when. Chip has an eye for detail and wants the job to be done correctly no matter what. We also enjoyed working with his son Zach. He worked well with our designer to make sure our collective vision came out just like we wanted. He also really saved our bacon and caught a plumbing mistake quickly before it could've caused quite a mess. Our project finished in a reasonable amount of time with what felt like very little disruption to the rest of our house, even though we completely replaced our carpet with hardwood floors on the main floor and redid the kitchen and family room (we were able to go in the finished basement). We've heard so many horror stories about contractors and were so relieved that we did not have to deal with any of that. We've also had neighbors speak highly of him for YEARS. He is not cheap, but his quality and workmanship is unbeatable. We love our new kitchen, hardwood floors, and built-in fireplace and bookshelves. It feels like a brand new house! Thanks Chip!

    Great work but equally important someone I didn’t mind (and quite honestly, really enjoyed) having in my home during what turned out to be a very stressful time when our second child came very early. Chip didn’t need “adult supervision” and I had absolutely no qualms leaving our remodel to him when we were busy with other issues. A genuinely great guy with a very good eye for colors and styles. Plan on using him again.

    Chip did a phenomenal job on our home: full kitchen remodel, family room fireplace/built-ins, guest, kids & master bathrooms and entire main floor flooring. He is beyond meticulous and everything was perfect. He had great ideas to help us optimize our space and meet the needs of our busy kid/pet filled family. Superb craftsmanship and incredibly easy to work with. Highly recommended!!

    Chip has done numerous projects for me, including hanging chandeliers, curtains, shelves and mirrors. He really takes the time to make sure everything is going to look great and that you are happy with it.     Chip and his crew are the best!! We had a tricky construction project involving ADA requirements and he was able to create a custom bathroom, shower, and closet for us. We also redid two bedrooms. Every one of his subcontractors were amazing to work with as well. His son Zach works with him as well and we loved having his positive attitude in our chaotic house. They were very respectful and considerate of our animals. Our dog loves them. Chip as a contractor is very detailed oriented. He takes pride in his work and it shows. We were able to work together with ease and great communication. We feel very lucky to have found Chip and his team. My aunt and uncle have used them as well and he created a beautiful oasis for their bathroom as well.

    Chip did a fantastic job. He installed two fireplaces and finished the basement. Chip also added a roofed deck to the house. He also cleaned up the work area every day. He was easy to work with and also had great ideas on how to complete the basement and deck. I would highly recommend him and his employees to do any construction and or remodeling you need.

  • If you need something done right, Chip Sharp is your man. Mr. Chip, as my young sons call him, was attentive to every detail in our kitchen remodel. When issues popped up, he communicated them and came with solutions. It was our first home reno project and he walked us through every step with the patience of a saint. He also didn’t mind answering questions from inquiring and nosey toddlers 💜

    Sharp Construction remodeled our guest bathroom and larger master bathroom. We were blown away! First and most importantly, Chip the owner, his son Zach, and each of the skilled contractors they partner with are personable, prompt, reliable, and true craftsmen. Secondly, Chip knows and trusts the contractors he works with, works only with ones that meet his high standards, and Chip has a long history of using the same contractors on his projects. Chip and the team take pride in their work, aim to realize the client's vision for the space, and are committed to completing their work in a timely yet meticulous manner. They take great care of you and your home! We LOVE our bathrooms, and the master bath serves as an inviting, relaxing place to unwind with the spa vibe I was going for.
